The Human Behind the
rewrite

The wiring
I've spent more than two decades studying how people learn. Somewhere along the way, I became just as fascinated by how we learn ourselves; the stroies we absorb, the patterns we repeat, and the ways our brains adapt to everything we've lived through.
The science gave me language for something deeply human: we are shaped by what we learn. With nervous system healing, we are not sentenced to stay there.
the messy part
I didn't find my way here because I had everything figured out. Quite the opposite. I've rewritten parts of my own life through divorce, motherhood, relationships, starting over, getting it wrong, trying again, laughing at wildly inappropriate moments, and learning to see myself differently.
I'm not interested in pretending growth is neat. I'm interested in what happens when we understand ourselves well enough to choose what comes next.
What i bring to the margins
Learning and Literacy
More than two decades in education taught me that learning changes far more than what we know. It shapes how we understand ourselves, make meaning, build connections, and move through the world.
The brain & the wiring
I'm endlessly fascinated by learning, memory, neuroplasticity, and the nervous system -- and by translating the science into language that actually makes sense in real life.
lived experience
Somethings I learned from books. Some things I learned by living them. REWRITTEN holds both: research and real life, knowledge and mess, what we know and what we're still figuring out.
curiosity over certainty
You wont find a five-step formula for becoming a perfectly healed human here. You'll find questions, stories, science, humor, reflection -- and permission to understand yourself without turning yourself into a problem to solve.
